A Blood Donation at Bali Dynasty Resort
Bali Dynasty Resort organised a Blood Donation Event in the Nusa Penida function Room which was attended by the staff as part of a regular initiative with the Indonesia Red Cross and also to celebrate the coming of the Independence Day of Indonesia.
Tuban, 11 August 2016 – Bali Dynasty Resort organised a Blood Donation Event on Thursday, 11 August 2016 between 1pm and 4pm in the Nusa Penida function Room which was attended by the staff as part of a regular initiative with the Indonesia Red Cross and also to celebrate the coming of the Independence Day of Indonesia.
There were 51 people participating in this blood donation. At the end of the event, a total of 45 bags of blood were collected and delivered to Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). All blood will be stored in regional blood bank in Sanglah Hospital to be distributed to the needy.
In addition to today’s blood donation, there was also a free mini-medical check up for blood sugar level, uric acid and cholesterol.
This is a tangible contribution that we give to the society. Through this programme, we also want to endorse the importance of donating blood to maintain a sufficient blood supply to save the lives of others,” said Ramasari, Human Resources Manager of Bali Dynasty Resort.
The blood donation is one of the Bali Dynasty Resort’s annual corporate social responsibility (CSR) events with a total of a hundred staff who are registered as blood donors. The resort is also committed to help the disadvantaged people in Bali through “Help Friends for Life” Programme in conjunction with Solemen Indonesia. Launched in 2015, the programme has been successful to provide scholarships and ongoing treatments to individuals as well as give prosthetic legs, wheelchairs and much more.
The celebration of the Independence Day of Indonesia will be continued with Beach Cleaning and Staff Fun Games on the 16th and the Flag Ceremony on the 17th of August 2016 joined by all staff.
